LORD CACAO'S CORNER I’m spending Thanksgiving in Costa Rica leading a cleansing and fasting retreat. We’ll all be ![]() fasting on Thanksgiving. But that doesn’t mean we are not having fun! We are spending every extra moment checking out the local cacao trees my friends have been planting around here in the old-growth forests of the Guanacaste region. Not generally known for cacao production, this region is one of the Blue Zones of the world where people live the longest. All these young cacao trees are the offspring of the Golden Beanz distributed by Sacred Chocolate. While we have to wait to actually eat chocolate due to our fast — you don’t!
